Fellas, it is time to get even...
I just watched the very first episode of the new TV series on AXN last night, called 'Leverage'.
And it was god-damn freaking awesome!
The Team: As Nathan Ford says it, "We provide LEVERAGE."
'Leverage' is a show that combines the intelligence of Ocean's 11, the charm of James Bond (that is excluding Daniel Craig's franchise), the action of Mission Impossible, and the suspense of Prison Break.
What appeals to me about this show is the modern day Robin Hood theme-- stealing from the rich and giving back to the poor. The idea of white knights dressed in black really attracts me and makes the show quite addictive. The interesting part is each characters has their own reason to get even. And each characters has their own secrets that we viewers would be addicted to find out.
It has style, adrenaline, and drama. It's the best you could get from a tv show.
Cast list:
1. Timothy Hutton as Nathan Ford.
Nathan Ford: The man with the plan.
2. Gina Bellman as Sophie Deveraux.
Sophie Deveraux: The seductress.
3. Christian Kane as Eliot Spencer.
Eliot Spencer: The muscle.
4. Beth Riesgraf as Parker.
Parker: The thief.
5. Aldis Hodge as Alec Hardison.
Alec Hardison: The hacker.
This show is gonna be big one day, you just mind my words. And when it did, you just remember where you heard it from ;)
And here's a promo trailer I found on YouTube:
Note: 'Leverage' airs every Monday night at AXN.
