Nevertheless, I don't agree with the statement. Sorry ladies. Gentlemen, hold your horses before you get to any conclusion. I am not saying this just for the sake of saying it. In fact, I've given much thought into this particular topic. You can't say that I am bias cos I'm a female. And no, I am not saying this because I wanted to sweet-talk my boyfriend since I don't have one.
Research has proven that male's brain is larger than that of a female. Naturally, they are also smarter in terms of they have a knack of understanding a concept faster.
Even when you look back at the older days, men has always been the dominant of the two gender. They travelled, the conquered, they discovered new lands, the experimented, they founded more than 80% of the technology we use today.
Who discovered gravity? Isaac Newton. Who invented telephone? Alexander Graham Bell. Who invented airplanes? The Wright brothers. Who discovered that the Earth is round and not flat? Christopher Columbus. Who discovered America? George Washington. Name one of the greatest conqueror of all time? Napoleon Bonaparte. Who invented light bulbs? ...Forgot his name, but he surely was male.
Until today, men still dominates the world. President of the most powerful country--George W. Bush. Most wanted terrorist--Osama bin Laden. Most successful entrepreneur--Donald Trump. Owner of the biggest computer company--Bill Gates. Music legends--Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Beethoven, Mozart. Movie legends--George Clooney, James Dean, Samuel L. Jackson.
Now do you get my point?
But in today's modern and fast-paced world, you'll see that male is facing a new threat, namely the female. Female are slowly becoming more and more successful and some of them even overpower the male.
So why is it when men are naturally smarter than girl, girl nowadays are more successful. Let's recall a very common saying, "Success is 99% perspiration and 1% luck."
If you survey the tertiary education establishments all around the globe, most of their students are female. Female tends to take their responsibility more seriously. They are more committed and they can balance their professional life and personal life better than male.
There is also no doubt that female are more hardworking than male. Female are more persevering, more disciplined, and they have better communication skills as well as they express their feelings better than the male.
Female also have a better upbringing than male. While growing up, male are taught that they should not cry, that they are the more macho one. Eventually, they grow up into someone who keeps their feelings to themselves and in the end, they lack the ability to express their feelings freely.
But, one cannot deny that there are certain jobs that requires a men. Probably because they are naturally better than the female in terms of physical.
But altogether, female is still the more courageous of the two. They can withstand the challenges placed before them. For example, giving birth, that has to be the greatest pain of all. Why didn't God let men do the job? Perhaps, He knew that the female would be able to face this rather than the male.
Conclusion: Boys are smarter than girls but, when it comes to capability, girls are more capable than boys. And this is why there are more and more female that can walk side by side with their other counterpart, the male.
